ALL People!
Aren’t you thankful that the “good tidings of great joy” was for ALL people? This news of a Saviour being born was not just for a select group – it was for ALL!
I don’t know about you but this Christmas season more than ever, my “Merry Christmas!” to various store cashiers has been met with blank stares – almost as if they had been trained on how to respond to the mention of CHRISTmas. 😢 I have walked away with sadness BUT ALSO determination to continue to remind my little part of the world WHO this time of celebration is all about.
Although the world may be growing colder toward just the mention of Christ, I can’t help but smile as I shop in their stores during this season and hear songs (not all, of course) that speak of JESUS. ❤️
There is no denying that Christ’s birth was and still is a reason for celebration! Although many may do all they can to ignore the Babe Who came to save them from their sin, what an opportunity we have, as Christians, to speak HIS name during the Christmas season! Let’s be sure that we are a light in this very dark world. Let’s be sure that we do indeed celebrate the CHRIST of Christmas!
