Fear – Oswald Chambers

“The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else.” ~ Oswald Chambers

I just read the above quote and WOW…this is something I believe the Lord has been wanting to teach me lately. Unfortunately, I’m a slow learner – but I think I’m beginning to realize this truth! Fear is the opposite of faith. Living in a spirit of fear is not of God and Satan knows how it can utterly paralyze a believer.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7
