God’s Love
After taking Mom to church this past Sunday morning, the girls and I headed back down to NC. As usual, we passed the time listening to Christ-honoring music and preaching. Toward the end of our trip, we began listening to (and singing along with) a cd by The Webster Trio. My heart was already full from the past few hours of singing and preaching but let me tell you…as track #10 started playing, I found myself overwhelmed with God’s love to me – tears and all! Oh my, friends! I’m not sure exactly how many times I hit the repeat button on that particular song but the Lord sure did use it to reach down and give me a much-needed hug that day!
This afternoon, are you feeling overwhelmed? Could you use a hug? Run to Jesus, my friend. He loves you! He TRULY loves you! Instead of being overwhelmed with the cares of life, give HIM your cares and be overwhelmed by His love!
