If GOD Be For Us!!
I share the following, not for sympathy, but in hopes that someone else may be encouraged! 😊
Before we took the first steps in this new ministry of frameable prints at In Thine Heart Designs, we spent much time praying and asking the Lord for wisdom, direction and confirmation. When He opened the door for Anna to begin working on them, He literally swung it wide open by giving her extra time at home that she needed (in the midst of our traveling back and forth) to meet a certain deadline.
This was all so very exciting to us – to see God’s hand in this new venture.
However, as with anything that we desire to do for the Lord, Satan began to rear his ugly head and, in recent weeks, we have found ourselves in the middle of spiritual warfare. Why? Because our adversary – the accuser of the brethren – the father of lies – HATES God. Therefore, he HATES anything that Christians may desire to do to further the cause of Christ including ministering to the saints.
Saturday evening, I talked with the girls about this. I didn’t want them to be discouraged so I reminded them that what we were experiencing was to be expected. Their response was not one of discouragement but rather ENcouragement to this momma!
Yesterday morning, I received a text from a precious friend who just received one of our prints and I am sharing a portion of it with her permission.
❤️ “I just wanted to thank you and the girls for my picture and tell you how spot on with verse and timing it was!
…I left broken and discouraged. After waiting…I was crushed again. Immediately upon returning home, your card was in my mailbox! 😭🙌🏻
The timing and verse were what I needed and when I needed it most.
Thank you for obeying the Lord and reaching out to encourage others. Love you all bunches.” ❤️
This dear friend was thanking us for the encouragement to HER but GOD used her text to encourage and strengthen US!! 🙌🏻
Isn’t that just like our Lord – to reach out in the midst of the raging battle and remind us that HE is right here WITH us…that HE is FOR us!!
THAT, my friends, is ALL that matters!! What a PERSONAL Saviour!!
