Mom’s Birthday Pictures!

We’re so thankful for safe travels to and from WV! The Lord gave us a wonderful week spending time with Mom and celebrating her 97th birthday – God has been so very faithful! We enjoyed doing a little shopping at Hobby Lobby one day and picking out a rose bush at Walmart. One evening, we gathered with other family at Cracker Barrel for a birthday meal. Although the current “social distancing” guidelines prevented us from sitting together, we were still fortunate enough to have the entire back room to ourselves. That was definitely a good thing when the kids started blowing their birthday whistles! 🙂

For her birthday, the girls and I were able to surprise Mom with new porch chairs and patriotic decorations. She enjoyed sitting outside while sporting new red shoes and checking on her new raised garden beds (birthday gifts from other family).
