Keep Toiling On!

I bought a new daily devotional book yesterday – “Consolation” by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman (author of “Streams in the Desert”). I thought I would share the following poem from this morning’s devotional. I pray it will encourage someone to keep toiling on!

“When all our hopes are gone,

‘Tis well our hands must still keep toiling on

For OTHERS’ sake;

For strength to bear is found in duty done;

And he is BLEST INDEED who learns to make

The joy of OTHERS cure his OWN heartache.”
