Praying For A Miracle?

“And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.” Exodus 5:22,23

God had instructed Moses to go before Pharoah and tell him to let the children of Israel go. The result of Moses’ obedience to God was increased affliction on the Israelites there in the land of Egypt. We read in the above verses Moses complaining before God and even questioning his purpose for being sent.

Reading those verses this morning was a great reminder – Circumstances usually get worse before they get better. When we pray for a miracle, we must prepare ourselves for the valley in which only GOD can deliver! Don’t stop praying in that valley…

“And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place…” Exodus 13:3

Amen!!
