Slow & Steady

“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.”  Proverbs 21:5

“Slow and steady” is what I have written in my Bible beside the above verse. In this age of instant everything, it is a good reminder of the blessings of diligence and faithfulness.

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”  Proverbs 28:20
