I Need Thee Every Hour

Many, many times in my Christian life, the Lord has had to bring me from my self-sufficiency back to this…

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord; No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee; Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby; Temptations lose their pow’r when Thou art nigh.

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee; Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain; Come quickly and abide, or life is vain.

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee; Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will; And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee; Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One; Oh, make me Thine indeed, Thou blessed Son.

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee; Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.

(verses by Annie Hawks; refrain by Robert Lowry)

Sometimes we just need to take the time to think and meditate on the words to some of the old hymns. I know there are good songs written today but the tried and true hymns can touch your heart like no other.

You are very right, sis! This morning (Feb 1) we posted a link to Br. Caudill singing this song…I hope it will be a blessing!
