Times of Testing

When we read the first verse of Genesis 22, we do not see a list of names to whom God was “administering” a test. Even though others (Isaac, Sarah, servants, etc.) were affected to various degrees, the account of Isaac being offered up as a sacrifice was a test meant specifically for Abraham.

“And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham…”  Genesis 22:1
