“Follow Me”

“Follow me”

When Peter heard Jesus speak the above words to him, his very first reaction was to look around him. As his eyes fell on John, Peter asked, “Lord, and what shall THIS man do?” John 21:21

Jesus’ reply – “…what is that to THEE? follow thou me.”  John 21:22

A very good reminder this morning – if we have ever sung from the heart, “I have decided to follow Jesus…” we must determine “no turning back” as well as “no looking around to see what others are doing”.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”  Hebrews 12:2
