A couple mornings ago, in my personal devotions, the following verse stood out to me…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.” Philippians 2:24<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The part that caught my attention was the first six words – “But I trust in the Lord…” This evening, in whatever situation the Lord has allowed in our lives, are we able to say, “But I trust in the Lord…”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n That same morning, the “Proverbs for the day” contained the very familiar, often quoted verses…<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5,6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Although the above verses are often quoted, I wonder if they are often practiced. This evening, are we trusting in the Lord?<\/p>\n\n\n\n “We cannot always trace God’s hand, but we can always trust God’s heart.” <\/strong>~ C.H.
