{"id":8174,"date":"2018-08-04T20:29:08","date_gmt":"2018-08-05T00:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/2018\/08\/04\/you-can-trust-the-man-that-died-for-you\/"},"modified":"2020-04-28T15:28:41","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T19:28:41","slug":"you-can-trust-the-man-that-died-for-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/staging\/8143\/2018\/08\/04\/you-can-trust-the-man-that-died-for-you\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;You Can Trust The Man That Died For You&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past Wednesday, while in WV, one of my morning devotionals contained a truth that has stayed with me this week &#8211; &#8220;You can trust the Man that died for you.&#8221; As I read it, reread it and thought on that simple truth, I made it personal &#8211; &#8220;<strong>I <\/strong>can trust the Man that died for <strong>ME<\/strong>!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At least <strong>three <\/strong>times that day, I either sang or heard the hymn &#8220;<em>Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus<\/em>&#8221; (at the senior center sing-along, at my sister&#8217;s church that evening as a congregational, on the way back to Mom&#8217;s after church on a random cd).<\/p>\n<p>The Lord definitely had a message for me that day &#8211; a message I don&#8217;t want to forget &#8211; a message I need <strong>every <\/strong>day:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rachel, you can <strong>TRUST ME!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Below is the devotional from <em>Streams in the Desert <\/em>for August 1st.
