This past Thursday evening, at the close of the Sword of the Lord conference, the girls and I slipped out and began making our way back up to WV…arriving a little after 1:00am. The timing for this visit was perfect for a few reasons so I’m very thankful for the opportunity! Our plan is to spend several days with Mom, helping out in whatever way we can.<\/p>\n

Friday evening, we were able to take Mom to the 50th anniversary celebration of my sister and brother-in-law…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Before leaving, we grabbed the opportunity for a mother\/daughter picture…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This morning, Mom was very glad to attend her own church. Here she is with one of her friends who, Lord willing, will turn 99 next month!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After church, we surprised Mom with a Cracker Barrel meal…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A few of her church friends showed up there as well…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
