The following devotional from Streams in the Desert<\/em> <\/strong>was a blessing and good reminder this morning. Perhaps there is someone reading this\u00a0who is being “pressed out of measure” – I pray it will be an encouragement to you as well. May each of us allow\u00a0the “pressing times”\u00a0that God allows in our<\/strong> lives\u00a0to give us a compassion for\u00a0the suffering of others.<\/p>\n

I like what the devotional says in the last paragraph:<\/p>\n

“Trials and hard places are needed to press us forward”.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

By God’s grace, let’s just keep moving forward!<\/p>\n

“For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:\u00a0But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:” II Corinthians 1:8,9\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
