In my continuing quest to better understand faith, Scripture passages as well as devotionals such as the one below\u00a0continue to\u00a0stand\u00a0out to\u00a0me.\u00a0This morning, I’m\u00a0going to\u00a0write\u00a0the following phrase\u00a0from\u00a0today’s devotional in Streams in the Desert<\/em> in my journal. I’m pretty sure it’s a thought\u00a0of which I will need to be reminded in days ahead!<\/p>\n

“The only alternative to a desperate faith is despair, and faith holds on and prevails.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
