{"id":7650,"date":"2018-01-20T08:12:47","date_gmt":"2018-01-20T13:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/staging\/8143\/?p=7650"},"modified":"2018-01-20T08:12:47","modified_gmt":"2018-01-20T13:12:47","slug":"early-signs-of-spring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/staging\/8143\/2018\/01\/20\/early-signs-of-spring\/","title":{"rendered":"Early Signs Of Spring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A couple weeks ago\u00a0&#8211; right in the middle of these winter months &#8211; we here in NC\u00a0experienced some\u00a0spring-like weather.\u00a0In fact, as we\u00a0were in town that week\u00a0for Anna&#8217;s orthodontist appointment and errands, the girls were just about ready to go home and pull out\u00a0the flip-flops. I&#8217;m telling you folks,\u00a0it felt like SPRING!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now,\u00a0we knew it was way too early to be thinking that spring had arrived&#8230;why, it wasn&#8217;t quite the middle of January yet.\u00a0And sure enough &#8211; in spite of the\u00a0balmy 70 degree temperature we had one of those days,\u00a0this past week brought us back to reality with 5 1\/2 inches of snow!\u00a0Yes, we still have plenty of winter left &#8211; plenty of days to bundle up and brace the cold winds and maybe even see more freezing precipitation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You know what those few unusually warm days did for us though? It put in us an eager\u00a0anticipation for the next season. I guess you could say we have been smitten with just a touch of spring fever and I&#8217;m getting a little excited!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently, I read the following verse&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>&#8220;For, lo, the winter is past&#8230;&#8221; Song of Solomon 2:11<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This\u00a0phrase\u00a0came to my mind several times\u00a0that week\u00a0as it sure did FEEL like the winter was past.
