<\/a><\/p>\nOver the years, I’ve come face-to-face with some “giants” in my Christian life. If you’ve been saved for very long at all, I know you can relate. When we experience these times of testing – where the trial is unbelievably HUGE and seemingly impossible to conquer – we must remember there is absolutely NOTHING too big for God to handle.<\/p>\n
Is there a “giant” towering over you? What is going through your mind? Are you remembering:<\/p>\n
“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing<\/span> too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This evening, compare your giant to God.<\/p>\n I like how the author put it when he wrote the words to the following song:<\/p>\n When Compared To God<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Israelites were filled with fright<\/p>\n As Goliath started toward them<\/p>\n Compared to man, this giant stood so tall<\/p>\n But David said, my God has led me here to defeat him<\/p>\n So don\u2019t compare him to me, let\u2019s compare him to God<\/p>\n <\/em><\/p>\n When compared to God, everything\u2019s small<\/strong><\/p>\n There\u2019s no giant that compares at all<\/strong><\/p>\n To the Holy One who sits upon His throne<\/strong><\/p>\n So when you come to face a mountain so high<\/strong><\/p>\n One glimpse of God brings it down to size<\/strong><\/p>\n Satan will flee; you\u2019ll gain victory<\/strong><\/p>\n When you compare it to God<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/em><\/p>\n Oh, my friend, do you fear within<\/p>\n As your giant marches closer?<\/p>\n Do you know within your heart you cannot win?<\/p>\n Just have the faith of David\u2019s day and shout<\/p>\n \u201cMy God is bigger\u201d<\/p>\n You\u2019ll find there\u2019s nothing on earth that compares to Him<\/p>\n <\/em><\/p>\n When compared to God, everything\u2019s small<\/strong><\/p>\n There\u2019s no giant that compares at all<\/strong><\/p>\n To the Holy One who sits upon His throne<\/strong><\/p>\n So when you come to face a mountain so high<\/strong><\/p>\n One glimpse of God brings it down to size<\/strong><\/p>\n Satan will flee; you\u2019ll gain victory<\/strong><\/p>\n When you compare it to God<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/em> (Rodney Griffin)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Wouldn’t you just LOVE to know what was going through Branson’s mind yesterday when he came face-to-face with this giant???
