{"id":4307,"date":"2016-01-17T07:25:54","date_gmt":"2016-01-17T12:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/staging\/8143\/?p=4307"},"modified":"2016-01-17T07:25:54","modified_gmt":"2016-01-17T12:25:54","slug":"let-the-lower-lights-be-burning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/staging\/8143\/2016\/01\/17\/let-the-lower-lights-be-burning\/","title":{"rendered":"Let The Lower Lights Be Burning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good Sunday Morning to each of you!\u00a0 I just read the following and thought I would share&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On a dark, stormy, night, when the waves rolled like mount\u00adains, and not a star was to be seen, a boat, rock\u00ading and plung\u00ading, neared the Cleve\u00adland har\u00adbor. \u201cAre you sure this is Cleve\u00adland?\u201d asked the cap\u00adtain, see\u00ading only one light from the light-house.<br \/>\n\u201cQuite sure, sir,\u201d re\u00adplied the pi\u00adlot.<br \/>\n\u201cWhere are the low\u00ader lights?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cGone out, sir.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cCan you make the har\u00adbor?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cWe <em>must<\/em>, or per\u00adish, sir!\u201d<br \/>\nAnd with a strong hand and a brave heart, the old pi\u00adlot turned the wheel. But alas, in the dark\u00adness he missed the channel, and with a crash upon the rocks the boat was shiv\u00adered, and ma\u00adny a life lost in a wat\u00adery grave. Breth\u00adren, the Mas\u00adter will take care of the great light-house: <em>let us keep the low\u00ader lights burn\u00ading!\u00a0 ~ <\/em>D. L.
