As\u00a0our oldest daughter\u00a0and I were talking on the\u00a0phone\u00a0today, I mentioned to her a particular\u00a0young missionary family that, Lord willing,\u00a0will be attending our missions conference. We have known the family for probably close to 15 years and Courtney’s response to the news was\u00a0how it was\u00a0a blessing to hear of those who are remaining faithful to the Lord and His work. She then gave\u00a0an example of another missionary that Christopher had just been in touch with recently. Courtney’s first memories of this missionary go back\u00a0about 25\u00a0years when we had him in our home for a meal during our missions conference. He and his family have been serving faithfully in Maine all these years! I thank the Lord for their faithfulness. I thank the Lord for the encouragement that this missionary\u00a0family as well as other faithful servants are to this younger generation of Christians who are striving to serve the Lord.<\/p>\n
Are our lives an encouragement or discouragement to others?\u00a0We never know who is watching – who\u00a0remembers us\u00a0– who is being influenced by our example. Let’s just be faithful!!!<\/p>\n
