Thoughts of our family gathering soon for Christmas not only has us super excited but super busy with extra projects! This beautiful mid-December weather inspired me to head outside – with paint, of course! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Our first project – using leftover chalkboard paint to spruce up a little table for the GRANDS!<\/p>\n

I’m pleased with how it turned out – I think they’ll like it!  \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I am SUPER EXCITED about this afternoon’s project!!  I’ve been wanting to do this for Christmas for several years but was having a hard time deciding how. For the longest time all I could think of was some sort of wire sculpture letters (with lights wrapped around). I even had an abundance of metal coat hangers to use!  \ud83d\ude42  The only thing that came from that idea was me realizing how hard it is to shape metal hangers into letters. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Just recently, I thought of using the wooden pallets in the barn (thanks to my Honskins) for my brainstorm. Today was the perfect day to paint, so paint we did!<\/p>\n

I’m soooooo excited about how it turned out!!<\/p>\n

JESUS – oh, how SWEET the name!!  He’s the reason for this season, folks!<\/p>\n

The name of Jesus is so sweet,
\nI love its music to repeat;
\nIt makes my joys full and complete,
\nThe precious name of Jesus.<\/p>\n

Jesus! oh, how sweet the name,
\nJesus! every day the same;
\nJesus! let all saints proclaim
\nIts worthy praise forever.<\/p>\n
