“And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.”\u00a0 II Chronicles 2:5<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Beside the above verse I have written “God deserves our best!”\u00a0 Anything we do for the Lord should be done whole-heartedly…not in a hum-drum fashion. Wherever the Lord has placed us to serve, let’s be sure to serve Him with all of our might!<\/p>\n

God not only deserves our best in areas of service, He deserves our best YEARS as well!\u00a0 If you are young, do not wait until you are older to serve your Saviour. Give the Lord the STRENGTH of your youth!\u00a0 Ecclesiastes 12:1 makes a plea to young people – “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A portion of Matthew Henry’s comments on this verse are as follows:<\/p>\n

“It is the greatest absurdity and ingratitude imaginable to give the cream and flower of our days to the devil, and reserve the bran, and refuse, and dregs of them for God;”<\/p>\n

Give God your BEST in every area – youthful years included!\u00a0 You will not regret it!<\/p>\n

\nThrow your soul\u2019s fresh, glowing ardor
\nInto the battle for truth.
\nJesus has set the example,
\nDauntless was He, young and brave.
