No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paul compares the Christian life with that of a soldier. With the recent court rulings and legalization of homosexual marriage, the social media world has blown up with people showing their disagreement &#8211; many professing to be Christians. That&#8217;s all good, but I hope those same people are doing more than just exercising their freedom of speech. My questions to them would be:<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>*Are you supporting a local New Testament church?<br \/>\n*Do you attend it faithfully?<br \/>\n*Do you support it with your labor?<br \/>\n*Do you support it financially?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s going to take more than slapping a statement on social media to change the direction we are heading as a nation. The reason we are experiencing what we are now is because society knows that most professing Christians are surface level &#8211; meaning they will do little to nothing to impact the cause of Christ (other than just give an opinion). Are you a soldier of the cross, or are you missing in action? If you are a born again Christian, the church is where your spiritual family meets for prayer, worship and to execute the plan of God in evangelizing the world. I encourage you today that, if you&#8217;re not an active part of a local church, to prayerfully seek to be one ASAP! United we stand as a force to be reckoned with; divided and scattered &#8211; we hardly have a voice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Numbers 32:6 &#8211; &#8220;And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I know there are many who have been hurt, disappointed, even discouraged with church from time to time. But hey, it&#8217;s war! Battle wounds and scars just come with the territory. Just remember that even God&#8217;s people have issues and flaws. But the One Who has called you to this great cause, the Captain of the army &#8211; our Lord Jesus Christ, does not!
