I came across it today and as I read it, I was reminded of a quote that goes something like &#8211;<strong>\u00a0Boundaries are not bondage but rather a bulwark from the bondage of sin. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">****************************************************<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"en-us\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: large;\">As I was preaching Romans 6 this morning, I was once again reminded that as a child of God, I am dead to sin! Not just the penalty of sin, but sin itself! There seems to be a trend among present day Christians ( many who are Independent Baptist) that says &#8220;I have liberty to sin&#8221;. Paul rebukes this line of thought in vs. 2 by saying &#8220;God forbid&#8221;. As a child of God, I don&#8217;t have the liberty to indulge in sin but liberty from sin. I am dead to sin and although there may be temptation, sin has no hold on me. A person would be a fool to criticize standards and convictions by calling them &#8220;bondage&#8221; when all they are doing is protecting you from committing the sin that you have been freed from. Don&#8217;t get me wrong &#8211;\u00a0we are not saved by works; we are saved by grace and when we fall to sin there is still grace.
