Even those that are in a lower and narrower sphere must look upon it that they live to serve their generation; and those that will do good in the world must make themselves servants of all, (1Co 9:19). We were not born for ourselves, but are members of communities, to which we must study to be serviceable.&#8221; ~ Matthew Henry<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In my Bible, I have written beside the above verse &#8211; &#8220;Am <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">I<\/span> spending my life serving my generation by the will of God?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I believe a heart that desires to serve will\u00a0find opportunities to do so. They will not wait for\u00a0&#8220;bigger doors&#8221; to open\u00a0while brushing aside the seemingly &#8220;small&#8221; tasks. I have heard it said, &#8220;bloom where you are planted&#8221; and those with a servant&#8217;s heart will do just that as they seek to serve in whatever capacity\u00a0they are able. I like the following quote:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And that which I can do, by the grace of God, I will do.&#8221; ~ D.L. Moody<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The age in which we are living is our generation.
