I am thankful for MUSIC! I thank the Lord for a church\u00a0that encourages\u00a0our young people\u00a0to serve the Lord through music! What a blessing to see their enthusiasm to sing and\/or play\u00a0 in our services!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And, I thank God that I was raised in a home where CHRIST-HONORING music was played and sung. I thank the Lord for the many times that He has given me a song in the night to comfort my troubled soul. Many times it has been a song that I haven\u2019t actually heard in years but the Lord has so graciously put it in my heart at the VERY TIME I needed the words to remind me of His love and continued presence in my life. How important for homes to be filled with Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs! Not only does it create the right atmosphere at that moment, but we never know when\u2026maybe many years later\u2026the Lord will bring a certain song to our memory OR to our child\u2019s memory at just the right time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>&#8220;Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in the night his song shall be with me<\/span>, and my prayer unto the God of my life.\u201d\u00a0 Psalm 42:8<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.
