This morning, I was reminded of the following song via text. I am thankful that, not only do we\u00a0serve a God of the impossible, He specializes<\/span> in impossible situations! Why? That all glory may go to Him alone! I am reminded of the story of Gideon, where the Lord tells Gideon that his army is too large:<\/p>\n

“And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me<\/span>.”\u00a0 Judges 7:2<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

God knew that, with such a large number of men, Israel would be tempted to take the glory for the victory. In the verses to follow, Gideon’s army is reduced from 32,000 to a mere 300 men. NOW, the Israelites were in an “only God can deliver us” situation. And God did! That is His specialty.<\/p>\n

Got Any Rivers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBe of good courage\u201d God spoke unto Joshua,<\/p>\n

When o\u2019er the river God pointed the way;<\/p>\n

Jordan uncrossable, things seemed impossible,<\/p>\n

Waters divide as they march and obey.<\/p>\n

Chorus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Got any rivers you think are uncrossable?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Got any mountains you can\u2019t tunnel through?<\/strong><\/p>\n

God specializes in things thought impossible<\/strong><\/p>\n

Battles to win they would meet with their obstacles<\/p>\n

Jericho\u2019s walls too must fall to the ground;<\/p>\n

God is the same and His Word is dependable,<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll make a way through the water\u2019s for you;<\/p>\n

Life\u2019s situations by Him are amendable,<\/p>\n

Mountains and hills He will part for you too.<\/p>\n
