While reading in Malachi this morning, this song came to my mind so I thought I would share.  I don’t think I have heard it sung for years, but remember it as a child. It was written in 1856 by William O. Cushing.<\/em><\/p>\n

When He cometh, when He cometh
\nTo make up His jewels,
\nAll His jewels, precious jewels,
\nHis loved and His own.<\/p>\n

Like the stars of the morning,<\/strong>
\n His brightness adorning,<\/strong>
\n They shall shine in their beauty,<\/strong>
\n Bright gems for His crown.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe gems for His kingdom;
\nAll the pure ones, all the bright ones,
