After doing a little research on the phrase as well as\u00a0thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that when &#8220;as for me&#8221; is said, it usually means that the person is taking some kind of a stand. For instance, we find Joshua using this phrase in speaking to the people of Israel. Joshua 24:15,<strong><em> &#8220;And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but<\/em> <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">as for me <\/span>and my house, we will serve the LORD<\/em>.&#8221;<\/strong> In other words, Joshua is saying something like this, &#8220;I don&#8217;t know about the rest of you, but me and my family are going with God.&#8221; To be able to say something like this takes courage and acknowledging the fact that &#8220;though none go with me, still I will follow&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you haven&#8217;t already, you need to realize you <b>CANNOT<\/b> please <b>EVERYONE<\/b>! So, why worry\u00a0yourself over\u00a0<strong>trying<\/strong> to please\u00a0everyone when you should be striving to please the <strong>ONE<\/strong> that matters most, Jesus Christ?
