Fear is a powerful tool that Satan often uses to hinder the work of God in an individual, a family, a church. Obviously, I am not speaking of a common sense fear or healthy fear of danger. And most importantly, I am not referring to fearing God for we know that fearing the Lord is just the beginning of us receiving wisdom from above. \u201cThe fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.\u201d Proverbs 9:10 <\/i><\/b>But, Proverbs 29:25 says, \u201cThe fear of man bringeth a snare…\u201d <\/i><\/b>and this is the type of fear from which we should desire deliverance. <\/b><\/p>\n
Fearing man can literally bind\u00a0us. It has been said, “Never put a question mark where God has put a period.” \u00a0(John R. Rice) and the fear of man can plague our mind with doubts which could eventually lead to disobedience.
