It was during our time in WV that our 2-year-old GRANDdaughter met someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, most of the time, Annaleigh is a pretty outgoing little girl (like her daddy). She loves to wave at strangers and even yell \u201chey\u201d to them. She may be a little shy at first but it doesn\u2019t take her too long to warm up to a new person in her life. But, this \u201csomeone\u201d that she met that night was a totally different story. Annaleigh met her shadow &#8211; and it was NOT a pleasant experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were all pretty confused at the beginning &#8211; unsure of whether she had stubbed her toe or something like that. When we finally realized what was taking place, I did what any good Nana would do. I began frantically looking for my phone while hollering, \u201cvideo it&#8230;video it!\u201d ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While watching the few video clips that I took that night, I realized I had captured a PERFECT example of a simple yet profound Biblical truth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be times that circumstances will literally grip us with fear and even, as in Annaleigh\u2019s case, stop us dead in our tracks. But, God\u2019s Word tells us repeatedly that we should not fear but rather TRUST God! HOW do we do that when fearful situations threaten us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the first video, Annaleigh is terrified as her dark shadow looms in front of her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1920\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1080 \/ 1920;\" width=\"1080\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/img_5783-1.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> But, in the second video, she is walking without fear even though her shadow is still there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1920\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1080 \/ 1920;\" width=\"1080\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.inthineheart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/img_5786.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The difference?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the first video, she is turned away from the light. Look to JESUS, the Light of the World! Keep your eyes on HIM!
