A Comforting Thought

“O LORD, thou knowest…”  Jeremiah 15:15

I was reading just now in Jeremiah and came to this verse and just stopped after the above phrase. What a comforting reminder!  Whatever is going on in our lives at this very moment, God knows all about it. Earlier today, I had the opportunity to remind a dear friend of this very truth  – God knew all about her current circumstance. And God knows about yours as well!  He knows…and He cares.  Aren’t you thankful?

I’ve found a Friend, oh, such a friend!
So kind and true and tender,
So wise a Counselor and Guide,
So mighty a Defender!
From Him who loves me now so well
What pow’r my soul can sever?
Shall life or death, shall earth or hell?
No! I am His forever.
