Sunday Thoughts

We enjoyed having Br. and Mrs. Larry Wells with us yesterday. Br. Wells preached on godly and godless pursuits in both the Sunday School hour and afternoon service – the Lord used both messages to sound out a clear warning! A few thoughts from the afternoon service:

Ungodly pursuit blinds us to logic.

There is a certain amount of gratification in a godless pursuit, BUT it’s always temporary.

If we develop a godless pursuit, it will drive us to destruction.

“As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.”  Proverbs 11:19
