You Can’t Unscramble Eggs
“You can’t unscramble eggs…”
That’s a statement our pastor says quite often concerning our past mistakes and failures. If we have confessed those sins, they are under the blood and in the past. One key to living a victorious Christian life is LEAVING them in the past. The next time that old “accuser of the brethren” reminds you of your past, remind HIM that those things are forgiven and forgotten. But, be sure to remind yourself as well for it is very difficult to go forward while continually looking in the rearview mirror.
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, FORGETTING those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13,14
